SCIENTIST'S PULPIT -- PSALMS 19 SPACE MISSION
Psalms 19 is a very interesting chapter when it comes to the topic of astronomy, astrology and cosmology.Our key focus is not in all the verses but a few verses that we will redact scientifically thus interpret the chapter via a scientific lens.(we belong to the school of thought that religion is at one with science in the sense that both viewpoints seek truth which is knowledge which is reality ).
Verse 2 says : Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge
This means that every night we obtain knowledge or science . This is quite true . Thanks to the numerous telescopes in outer space and observatories on earth the night sky is constantly displaying scientific principles which we call knowledge . The whole inter galactic world is an x-y-z grid with numerous dimensions that keep on enriching science daily as scientists study stars and planets and strange movements that take place in the night sky.
This is in line with the story of Jesus birth where the men of the East were called wise men . This is because astrology, astronomy and cosmology were all considered wisdom hence knowledge hence science . Thus the wise men that visited Jesus were our modern day NASA scientists lol .
Anyway the point is , most of the Bible's understanding of the universe was taken from a geocentric point of view because they lacked machines and vehicles to transport them to the heavens aka galaxies .
But today we have vehicles that transport humans not only to stars but galaxies and planets thus destroying the one sided geocentric point of view .This is because we can observe galaxies from Mars , from Venus and other planets by setting up observatories in those planets to give us a Martian point of view or a Venetian point of view which can be called martiancentric or venucentric points of view , alongside the ultimtae heliocentric point of view .
Thus the presence of tools and vehicles refines science and this is why religion is subject to scientific writ because it possesses proper tools for obtaining knowledge which is truth which is science.
Verse 5 and 6 bring out the geocentric concept of the earth's rotation around the sun.
In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
So we see in the two verses the psalmist's geocentric aka earth's view point or understanding of what causes day and night. To him , it is the movement of the sun that causes day and night and not necessarily rotation.
But science has proved that it is not the movement of the sun that causes day and night nor heat and no heat but the rotation of the earth on its own axis .
Rotation principle is one of the most powerful principles in science that divided the church from the scientists . Yet it was an opportunity for the church to eat humble pie baked by Galileo himself and submit to scientists for their excellent observations and move on with them.
Why move on with scientists ? Because both camps are looking for truth , presumably.
God's word is deemed truth and knowledge is truth and science is knowledge thus God's word is scientific truth.
And the night sky daily conveys knowledge about the nature of stars and galaxies and planets .

INVENTION OF THE WEEK : HUBBLE'S SPACE TELESCOPE
This section we will give credit to inventions made by man and animal , like the nest and other animal inventions .
An invention is a unique or novel device, method, composition or process. This is why we dare say nests, anthills and other animal made compositions can be called inventions.
Only that animalistic inventions are different from human inventions on the basis of the nature of the inventor.
So we focus on the Hubble Space Telescope .This instrument that is used to observe distant planets, galaxies and other astronomical objects was launched in 1990 . It has made space exploration and study very detailed and informative aiding in many space missions to nearby planets .

HERO OF THE MONTH : ROSA PARKS
Our hero of the month is Rosa Parks . That gallant civil rights warrior that refused to give up her seat for a white person after the white person section was filled . This also being the Month of Women , it is significant to recognize such a bold move by a woman that fueled the civil rights movement to America culminating to a civil rights revolution in America led by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Her action was so poignant because not only did it propel Human Rights in the bus but it also propelled Human Rights in the court room as she had to challenge the charges laid her against her .

SCIENTIST'S PULPIT-- WATER INTO WINE (H2O into Hyrdoxyl)
So we are going to transliterate many religious texts into science speak . Today we will do Jesus' miracle of turning water into wine .
Jesus is said to have turned H2O into Wine .
Now what is water in science speak ?
Water is a transparent and colorless chemical substance .Its chemical formula is H2O, meaning that its molecule contains one oxygen and two hydrogen atoms, that are connected by covalent bonds.
Oxygen is colorless as a gas but pale blue when in liquid form whereas hydrogen is a colorless gas.
Now what is wine in science speak ?
Wine is an alcoholic beverage made from fermented grapes. Being alcoholic it mainly consists of Ethanol which is a volatile flammable and colorless liquid
Wine consists of :
- Water
- Carbohydrates
- Acids
- Alcohols
- Phenolics
- Nitrogenous compounds
- Inorganic substances
So whereas water is H2O , Wine is C2H6O . This means that Carbon is the missing element in water that binds with the Hydrogen and Oxygen constituents in simple science speak.
Now let us look at the differences of the two liquids , that is water and alcohol which is also wine .
Water: a chemical substance, made up of oxygen and hydrogen.
Alcohol: a chemical compound associated with hydroxyl functional group and carbon atom.
STATES OF MATTER
Water is is found in all the three states of matter.
- Liquid
- Solid
- Gas
Alcohol exists only in liquid state, it doesn’t have the ability to get in solid or gas form.
Chemical Composition:
The chemical formula of water is H2O,
Alcohol is made up of different alcoholic molecules in hydroxyl depending how much carbon is attached with it. The chemical formula of alcohol is CnH2n+1OH.
Taste and smell: Water is tasteless and odorless
Alcohol has a very specific bad odor or a very pungent smell. When it comes to its taste, it carries a bitter and strong taste.
PH value:
Water has a neutral PH value that is 7 hence it is neither basic nor acidic.
Alcohol is acidic with a PH value less than 7.
Boiling Facts : Water has different boiling points mainly depending upon the area in which it exists. At sea level, water instantly boils at 100°C, when it comes to the height, water boils at 68°C. Water has the quality to remain in liquid form no matter whatever the temperature is. It does not have the static temperature.
Alcohol or ethanol has the static temperature for boiling it boils at a temperature of 78.29°C.
So with those details we can say that Jesus' miracles were miracles of speed and always beat the clock.
This is because it is naturally possible to make water into wine as water is a constituent of wine as we have seen above only that the process is long due to fermentation .
Winemakers would wish to have a Jesus Christ working for them but on second thoughts would rather take time in wine making as different levels of carbon in the wine determine the taste of the wine .This means time is also a factor in the manufacture of goods .
Thus miracles are just speedy events which as science is accelerating its modes of operation are also accelerating with cures for certain diseases rising as soon there will be foods that we will eat once and will deal with incurable diseases once and for all .
Thus the element of acceleration is what made miracles miracles in the ancient times and that included the conversion of water into wine or H20 into a Hydroxyl compound .

THE SYMMETRICAL EXTERNAL HUMAN BODY ; THE ASYMMETRICAL INTERNAL HUMAN BODY
The body is symmetrical externally but asymmetrical internally.This is seen via the the structure of the internal body systems that when divided into two are not similar to each other . For example , unlike the "external' human right hand that is normally symmetrical to the left hand , the internal circulatory system has the heart as the center which is found on the left side of the body .
If the body was internally symmetrical , the right side of the body would also have a heart but alas it does not have hence the asymmetry.
Of course other internal systems are symmetrical but the circulatory and the digestive systems tend to be asymmetrical when the body is divided into two.
The import of this learning is immense as it means that when it comes to circulation and digestion the left side and the right side are different parts even though they look the same or symmetrical on the outside when covered up by skin.
Studies can be carried out to find out whether this asymmetry has an effect on body health and regeneration . Of course it is common knowledge that a sniper shoots at the left side of a human being to target the heart of a human being and not the right side . But other than shooting expertise , this internal asymmetry could help us in making robots that also possess the same internal asymmetry or try and make a new human that has internal symmetry .
The options and the ideas are vast on this issue that is not new as we have buildings which are symmetrical on the outside but on the inside the left side of the building has less important functions and offices than the right side and vice versa .
So much for nature's not so symmetrically perfect design lol.

BELIEF SYSTEMS / BELIEF PYRAMIDS
Human beings are different from animals in one respect amongst many ; they hold beliefs and share them or express them to others .This expression of beliefs led to the recognition of the inalienable rights of freedom of speech , conscience and expression all of which are based on a certain belief system held by the human being.
We have depicted this belief system in diagrams or pyramids using American society as an example .We are using American society because of its bipolar division where you have the political bifurcation of left and right as very prominent.This was evident in the last election where the presidential popular vote was largely for the left or the blues or Democrats while the presidential electoral college vote was for the right or the red party or Republicans.
Now for those who are for the Republican party we have called them red pyramids of the conservative pyramid . While the Democrats are the blue pyramids of the liberal pyramid . Then we have an assorted pyramid that is a mix of blue and red bricks . This group is mostly held by independents in an election setting or libertarians .
This Pyramid system can be employed in any setting as every brick is a principle or belief or ideology held dearly by a person.
- THE RED PYRAMID /RED IDEOLOGUE / CONSERVATIVE PERSON'S BELIEF SYSTEM
Thus we are saying every human being is a building of ideologies or a building of principles or beliefs that they hold and acquire through education and communication channels.
- THE BLUE PYRAMID /BLUE IDEOLOGUE / LIBERAL PERSON'S BELIEF SYSTEM
This is why you can have a person who is anti LGBT a trait considered to belong to the conservative pyramid of thought and belief but is anti war which is a trait or principle belonging to the liberal pyramid or Democrat system.
Thus we can say that America is becoming more and more assorted and less and less bifurcated making elections thoroughly unpredictable because of the assorted/mixed arrangement of beliefs and values of many voters and persons.
- THE MIXED PYRAMID /MIXED IDEOLOGUE / MIXED PERSON'S BELIEF SYSTEM
This can be attributed to the Internet where many people are educating themselves about many issues and thus are reshaping their views ideas and beliefs or reinforcing their age old beliefs.
So a society can have a population that has many blue pyramids or many liberals than conservatives and vice versa . But a society can also have a majority of assorted pyramids or mixed ideologues thus mixing up the policies and values of a country or population.

NUMBERED GRID ZONES OF THE WORLD
Below is mapping of grid zones of the world compiled by Alan Morton but modified through numbering by 21st Century Polymath. The first one by Alan just shows the grid zones as they are but the second one by 21st Century Polymath is a numbering of the zones so that each zone has an address . Thus we have come up with 1197 zones as per Alan's map.
Numbering of zones is useful in locating regions with ease and employing new alternative naming systems .For example instead of referring to Portugal by its co-ordinates you can use the numbered zone system hence calling Portugal 622 and 623 .This is because two of these zones cover Portugal . If you want North Portugal you just call it 622 as per the map since the co-ordinate ranges vary in most maps .
Of course it is known that co-ordinates differ in range as some co-ordinate ranges are the same both longitudinally and latitudinally while Alan's has two different ranges with the latitude co-ordinates having a range of 8 degrees while the longitudes have a range of 6 degrees.
This difference in ranges means that the numbering of zones will also vary . thus in this case we have numbered Alan's map and thus employed his co-ordinates.

There are 60 longitudinal projection zones numbered 1 to 60 starting at 180°W. Each of these zones is 6 degrees wide, apart from a few exceptions around Norway and Svalbard.
There are 20 latitudinal zones spanning the latitudes 80°S to 84°N and denoted by the letters C to X, ommitting the letter O. Each of these is 8 degrees south-north, apart from zone X which is 12 degrees south-north.
Areas are referenced by quoting the longitudinal zone number, followed by the latitudinal zone letter. For example, the southern end of South America is 19F.
Within each longitudinl zone the transverse mercator projection is used to give co-ordinates (eastings and northings) in metres.
For the eastings, the origin is defined as a point 500,000 metres west of the central meridian of each longitudinal zone, giving an easting of 500,000 metres at the central meridian.
For the northings in the northern hemisphere, the origin is defined as the equator.
For the northings in the southern hemisphere, the origin is defined as a point 10,000,000 metres south of the equator.
The co-ordinates thus derived define a location within a UTM projection zone either north or south of the equator, but because the same co-ordinate system is repeated for each zone and hemisphere, it is necessary to additionally state the UTM longitudinal zone and either the hemisphere or latitudinal zone to define the location uniquely world-wide.

MUSIC CONVERTED INTO LIGHT
Yes it is true music can be translated into light forms .Simply because music is wave material just like light only that light travels faster than sound.
If sound waves travelled as fast as light we would being seeing projections of sound as long as the sound is transmitted in the same way as light is.
This is why it is strange that we have light and sound during a thunderstorm .A combination of sound waves and light waves.
Below is a picture that correlates different sounds on the keyboard to different colours of the spectrum.
To our amazement there is an ascension in the pitch of the sound as there is an ascension in the colour spectrum.
Today we will just post the picture but as we go on in our journey we will discuss about the power of colour and sound combined and how it explains the union that exists in various forms of energy in this case Light energy and Sound energy .

HERO OF THE MONTH - ALAN TURING
This section is out to honour both men and women and those in between who have contributed much to what we call the world.
My hero is my role model Alan Turing. Happy "The Imitation Game"tried to tell his life story though I wish it had gay sex lol.
Nonetheless I am in awe of his genius and profoundly happy that he was gay proving to naysayers that being gay is natural and does not hamper one's intelligence.
